This piece, with its spirograph-like centre, is made from just a small selection of simple stitches: straight up/down/sideways, diagonally from corner to corner or a 'knight's move' stitch (so, as a knight chess piece moves - across 1 up 2, or across 2 up 1 etc) there are no longer or more complicated stitches than this! Plus you get extra instructions to help you with the centre and border if you need it. More adventures in geometryland coming soon! These designs measure the same as my botanical blocks - 120 x 120 stitches On 14 count is 22 x 22 cm, on 16 count 19 x 19 cm & on 18 count 17 x 17 cm.
