Weeks Dye Works was founded by Miranda Weeks, a lifelong creative with a deep passion for color, fiber, and design. Inspired by early crafting memories with her grandmother and later trained in Environmental Design with a concentration in Fiber Arts at North Carolina State University, Miranda discovered her love for dyeing and color manipulation. What began in 1994 with hand-dyed thread created in her bathtub for a cross stitch studio grew into Weeks Dye Works, now based in a nearly 10,000-square-foot facility in Garner, North Carolina. Today, the company offers close to 600 color and fiber combinations across thread, pearl cotton, sewing thread, wool fabric, and more, with a continued focus on quality, consistency, and colors that bring joy to stitchers.
